The importance of a well-fitting pair of jeans...or why men should not roll up their bootcuts

Excuse the long absence from the world of blogging. Life's been madness. Lazy Daisy has completely arrived and settled in Berlin.
We've been sighted here and there, tested venues, checked out some gigs and have found some favourite hang-out spots.

Our eyes constantly open, receptive for new things, inspiring and exciting... we sometimes wish we had kept them closed, for what we saw was often oh so cringe-worthy.

So here we are, dear gentlemen, about to explain to you the importance of a good ol' pair of jeans.
Firstly let us tell you we are not trying to place you in a box, but there are certain rules to be followed and there definitely is a huge difference between taste and style.

Now boys of Berlin, we have noticed that you love your bootcuts and so do we... these tiny but crucial points will make us love your denims even more (so do read and do take notice!)
1. Your jeans should sit on your hips not under your armpits.
2. Denims should not be ultra tight around your bum. Trust us, a nice backside looks even nicer if they're slightly loose.
3. It is not 1974 and you are not in ABBA. Whilst your jeans may be a tad flared they should NOT cover your shoes entirely.
4. Finally, and most importantly, please, for the love of God, buy the right length or have your bootcuts cropped. It is NOT cool to roll them up because they're too long. NO EXCUSES!

Of course, as things are in life, the exception is the rule and the rule the exception. Therefore, rolling up your jeans is not an entire faux-pas, assuming that you're doing so for fashion/style and not practical reasons. So those of you who wore your slim fits rolled up with a nice pair of plimsolls this summer... Lazy likes!!
And we are loving this winter's grungy All Saints look, with scrunched up jeans and undone military boots.

Boys hate shopping, boys don't shop in cheap fashion stores and boys whinge that a decent pair of jeans is expensive. Oh how we love excuses.....

As always fashionable meets bargain at good old H&M, UNIQLO, GAP, TOPMAN and even Primark have some nice pieces.

So m'dears get out there, spend your pocket money, buy a gorgeous pair of jeans, wander the streets of Berlin like it's your catwalk, send us some pics and make Lazy Daisy proud...
